Award-Winning Blue Kitchen Is a Work of Art
To fully appreciate the transformation of this modern gourmet kitchen completed by Mowen Construction, take a look at the “Before” picture.
The penthouse condominium 11’ by 18.5’ country kitchen had fully served its purpose for many families over its 60 years. After removing all appliances, cabinetry, interior finishes, and part of a dividing wall between the kitchen and parlor, Mowen Construction started from raw space, with the goal of creating a gourmet kitchen executed in art gallery context, with each feature lighted independently as a work of art.
Here’s how it turned out:
The 7’ by 7’ peninsula in the middle of the space, with the Best 48’ Diam. Glass Canopy Hood over the Wolf Cook Top and Grill was a special focal point. The Sub-Zero 601F Freezer, 601R Refrigerator, Wolf Warming Drawer, and KitchenAide Dishwasher received wood face panels. Wolf Double Ovens with a Microwave Convection Oven, all stacked in one column, accented the angled corner between the cooling wall and the window wall.
