Wide expanses of glass surround the lower levels of the home, providing breathtaking views of the ocean. As if having the ocean lapping at your front door isn’t enough, the Fish House is surrounded to one side by a considerable and immaculately landscaped pool. While the edges of the pool are traditionally square, it includes small plush islands topped with verdant plant life.

While the interior spaces are large, open and contemporary, the basement is a bit atypical. To counter the fact that it’s underground, the basement incorporates a large curved panel of glass filtered through the pool. The view outward is through that pool water, giving below-level audiences the feeling that they’re under the sea.
