The building appears to be shifting. No accident, since forward-thinking Vodafone's philosophy, “Vodafone Life, Life in Motion,” shaped its structure. Vodafone is one of the world’s leading mobile telecommunications companies. More “origamic” in configuration, the Portuguese headquarters was sketched out by architects José António Barbosa and Pedro Guimarães of Barbosa Guimarães Arquitectos.

Created to defy a stagnant existence, the construction looks hurled into place and much like it broke upon landing. Even indoors, there are numerous “unresolved spaces” that symbolize the company’s progressive production. Underground, there are three levels. Above, there are five more floors, where mobile networking moves forward day by day…life in motion.

From way back when, in 1984, the small UK startup group has since progressed to a mega-conglomerate because of its well-marketed building and business. Today, Vodafone can proclaim, “We’ve come a long way, baby!”
