This ultra-modern Shower Room by Paris-based designer Christophe Pillet rethinks the whole concept of the shower, tearing down the moldy walls of convention and creating a downpour of modernism. The unique ceiling “rainwater” feature will make reenacting Gene Kelly’s famous “Singin’ in the Rain” dance number a natural for the amateur shower singer, but watch out for the cactus or you could be singing in some serious pain.

Check out this minimalist bathroom by Giorgio Armani’s in-house interior design team Armani/Casa. Built for a new condo project in New York’s financial district, the bathroom may come off as a little cold and austere to some, but if you’re tired of tiny, cluttered bathroom spaces where potpourri and fuzzy toilet-seat covers are the order of the day, this may fit you like one of his famous suits. Style points awarded for the recessed show head that features rain-like settings like “Sprinkle” and “Monsoon.”

Now this is what a modern bathroom should look like. Minimalist yet stylish, every element complements its surroundings and creates a clean, inviting space. Designer Michael Schmidt of Stuttgart worked with legendary Italian company Falper, which produced these uniquely shaped bathtubs from their Scoop Collection. Introverts might want to consider some sort of window coverings to cut down on the prospect of the pool boy getting an eyeful. Extroverts, enjoy the view!
